Ivan Ivanovchyk was born on 30 September 1958 in the picturesque Uzhanskyi valley in the village of Veluky Berezny, Transcarpathian district. He graduated from the Poltava Engineering-Building Institute (now University) at the architectural faculty. He is a Member of the National Unoin of Architectors of Ukraine since 1992, and the member of the union of professional artists of Transcarpathia.

He is an author of numerous public and private buildings as architect-artist. Specialization in landscape painting, graphic, design. He is art master the oil, pastel and watercolor. He depicts with epic wide scope landscapes of Carpathian Mountains, which rise in the high blue sky, slender silver firs, fleeting mountain streams and little cottages which lay to bank. The artist likes to paint city’s views and monuments of wooden architecture.

Participated in many exhibitions and plain-airs of different levels, including Hungary in 2005 and 2010.

Ivan Ivanovchyk has actively exhibited since 1998. The personal exhibition was in 2010 in Svalyava. He has participated in Group Anniversary exhibition which held in museum by Bokshay in Uzhgorod in 2010.

About 50 works are in private collections in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Russia and Australia.

In the land of art life figure of the artist, realistic and romantic in the same time, is extraordinary.
